Intro to Computer Science and Programming Using Python

July 21, 2018 by Kandis

I decided to sign up for the edX course MIT 6.00.1x Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python. I wrote simple websites when I was a kid. I loved it, but then I got distracted with Ultima Online (and now I’ve dated myself). That’s the only coding experience I had prior to this class. The MIT course is good. It’s tough, but it’s a great class. I’ve learned a massive amount of information in the 3 weeks that I’ve been taking the class. I really struggled with it for a bit, and then suddenly after a couple weeks in, it just clicked. I’m not saying I know everything, but now the language is suddenly making more sense and the answers are coming naturally. It feels good, and I am so excited to see what’s next. I have my midterm this weekend – updates to come!
